Data Bank¶
The OSGeo Nepal Databank is a community-maintained catalog of open geospatial data sources relevant to Nepal and the Himalayan region. It brings together datasets, geoportals, imagery platforms, and thematic spatial data into a single reference hub for GIS, remote sensing, research, and development work.
It helps users quickly discover and evaluate geospatial resources by documenting key details such as source descriptions, licensing, and access links. The repository is continuously expanded through community contributions, ensuring better access to open geospatial data for everyone.
The Databank supports a wide range of applications including spatial analysis, disaster response, environmental monitoring, and academic research.
